The flagship event for Forward Motion Events is the Pumpkinman Triathlon & Running Festival, held the weekend after Labor Day each year in South Berwick Maine. Our mission is to create events that bring communities together.

To me, Pumpkinman is everything great about grassroots triathlon, and at the end of the day, just a fantastic reminder that triathlon is supposed to be fun, a fact that is far too easy to forget at other races. Rick’s Run 5K was created in memory of Richard A. Roy. Rick was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly, yet suffered from PTSD. Rick’s Run will be donating 100% of the proceeds to the Veterans Count program within the Easterseals organization.
